Getting Started

First Login & Prologue

Upon your first login to the server, you will be greeted with a prompt in chat inviting you to begin the prologue—an immersive tutorial designed to introduce you to the world, its mechanics, and your first steps as an adventurer.

Prologue Introduction

During the prologue:

  • A flashing warning sign will appear in the sky, signalling the start of your adventure.
  • The Gamemaster will appear to give you a brief introduction to the server, explaining the story, your goals, and what makes this world unique.
  • Cinematic effects and sound cues enhance the experience, ensuring you feel fully immersed from the very beginning.

Choosing Your Skills

After the initial introduction, you will need to allocate your starting points:

  • 2 SP | Skill Points – used to unlock or improve your active and passive skills.
  • 3 SP | Stat Points – used to boost attributes such as strength, agility, or intelligence.

How to Access and Allocate Points:

  1. Open your Player Menu, represented by the icon in the 9th slot of your Minecraft hotbar.
  2. Navigate to the Skills Settings tab.
  3. Browse the available skills and select which ones you want to unlock.

Recommended: Spend 1 Skill Point on a Weapon Skill—this early investment can give you a strong advantage in the first stages of the game.

All players start with a basic set of leather armour, which is equipable without any skill requirements, so you can begin exploring and fighting right away.

Exploring the Black Iron Palace

The Black Iron Palace serves as the initial spawn point for new players. Here you will find Argo, an NPC who provides further guidance and context for your adventure:

  • You may choose to speak with Argo to receive helpful information, tips, and lore about the world.
  • Alternatively, you can skip their dialogue if you prefer to explore independently.

Argo’s dialogue can introduce you to:

  • Basic combat and skill usage
  • Navigating your Player Menu and hotbar
  • How to interact with NPCs for quests and information

Tips for New Players

  • Take your time during the prologue—it’s designed to teach mechanics gradually while immersing you in the world.
  • Skill allocation is permanent at this stage, so plan your points wisely.
  • Use the Player Menu frequently to check stats, adjust skills, and manage your equipment.
  • Explore the Black Iron Palace to familiarise yourself with NPCs, shops, and quest-givers.

By the end of the prologue, you will be fully equipped, skilled, and ready to embark on your Sword Art Online-inspired adventure across the server world.
